Pro-Life
The function of the Pro-Life Committee
includes four main areas:
1. Prayer - to promote respect for all
stages of life.
2. Education - bulletin inserts, pamphlets
about the Catholic teachings
regarding conception of life, stem cell
research, and abortion.
3. Compassion - through diocesan
Project Rachel program for those who
have had an abortion and need healing.
4. Action - contacting Congress when
life issues come up for vote in state
and federal legislatures. (Postcard campaigns,
taking part in the March for
Life in Washington, D.C., local Birthright
Walk and hotline services.)
